Who can rebuild my basement after a flood or water claim?

Norvex Builders (DOPL Lic. #14296089-5501) rebuilds finished basements after flooding, sewer backups and water claims. After your mitigation company dries the space, we rebuild walls, insulation, flooring, bathrooms and finishes, and coordinate the repair estimate with your adjuster. We serve Lehi, Draper, American Fork, Highland, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Orem, Provo and the greater Salt Lake and Utah County area.

What we rebuild in a basement

  • Framing, insulation and drywall on lower walls

  • Flooring, including LVP and carpet suited to below-grade rooms

  • Basement bathrooms, vanities and laundry areas

  • Wet bars, built-ins and cabinets

  • Doors, trim, baseboards and paint

We do not do extraction, drying or mitigation. Your mitigation company handles that, and Norvex Builders rebuilds after.

Rebuilding smarter below grade

A rebuild is a chance to choose materials that handle basement conditions better, such as waterproof LVP instead of carpet or moisture-resistant drywall where it fits. Some of these choices may fall outside your insurance scope. If so, we price the difference separately so you can decide.

Changing the layout

If you want to move a wall, add a bedroom or change the finish while the basement is open, we price that as a separate change order from the insurance work. We handle the permits.

Working with your adjuster

We write a detailed repair estimate for the covered basement damage, share it with your adjuster, and document any additional damage found during the rebuild.
