Who rebuilds a home after fire or smoke damage in Utah County?

Norvex Builders (DOPL Lic. #14296089-5501) rebuilds homes after fire and smoke damage. Once the cleanup and mitigation company has finished, we rebuild framing, drywall, insulation, cabinets, flooring, trim and paint, and coordinate the repair estimate with your insurance adjuster. We serve Lehi, Draper, American Fork, Highland, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Orem, Provo and the greater Salt Lake and Utah County area.

What we rebuild after a fire

  • Framing and structural repairs where needed

  • Insulation and drywall

  • Cabinets, countertops and built-ins

  • Flooring, trim, doors and baseboards

  • Interior paint, including sealing and repainting of smoke-affected surfaces in the rebuild scope

  • Coordination of licensed electrical and plumbing trades when those systems were damaged

Norvex Builders does not do fire cleanup, soot removal, odor treatment or mitigation. Your mitigation or cleanup company handles that work first, and we rebuild after.

Working from your insurance scope

Fire claims often have large, detailed scopes. We review the carrier's scope, write our own detailed repair estimate, and work with your adjuster to resolve differences. If we uncover hidden damage once walls are open, we document it and submit it for the adjuster's review.

The process after a fire

  1. Cleanup and mitigation are completed by your mitigation company.

  2. We inspect what remains and review the insurance scope.

  3. We write the repair estimate and coordinate it with your adjuster.

  4. Permits are pulled where required.

  5. We rebuild in order: structure, systems, insulation, drywall, finishes.

  6. Inspections, then a final walkthrough with you.

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle smoke cleanup?

No. Cleanup, soot removal and odor treatment are done by a mitigation or cleanup company. We do the rebuild.

Can you work from my insurer's scope?

Yes. We review it line by line and note anything the repair requires that is not included.

What gets replaced and what gets repaired?

That depends on the damage and your scope. We explain each item in our estimate.

Do fire rebuilds need permits?

Many do, especially when framing, electrical or plumbing is involved. We pull required permits and schedule inspections.

How long does a fire rebuild take?

Longer than most water repairs, because of permits and the amount of work. We give you a schedule once the scope is agreed.
