I already have a mitigation company. Who handles the rebuild?

Norvex Builders (DOPL Lic. #14296089-5501) picks up where your mitigation company leaves off. Your mitigation company handles extraction, drying and demo, and we handle the reconstruction: drywall, flooring, cabinets, trim and paint, plus estimate coordination with your adjuster. We serve Lehi, Draper, American Fork, Highland, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Orem, Provo and the greater Salt Lake and Utah County area.

Mitigation and reconstruction are two different jobs

  • Mitigation (your mitigation company): water extraction, drying equipment, moisture readings and removing wet materials.

  • Reconstruction (Norvex Builders): putting the home back together after it is dry.

Many homeowners do not realize the mitigation company may not do the rebuild. That is the job we do.

What we need from the mitigation handoff

To start cleanly, it helps to have:

  • The mitigation company's photos and moisture or dry-out logs

  • A list of materials removed

  • Your claim number and adjuster contact

With that, we can write an accurate repair estimate without guessing what was removed.

Working with your adjuster

When should I call a rebuild contractor?

As soon as mitigation starts, so we can plan. The rebuild itself starts after drying is finished.

Do you need the mitigation company's logs and photos?

They help a lot. They show what was removed and support the repair estimate.

Can you start before the claim is fully settled?

We start once the repair scope is agreed and the work authorization is signed.

Who pays for reconstruction?

Your carrier pays covered amounts under your policy, minus your deductible. We explain the payment schedule up front.

Do you do mitigation too?

No. Norvex Builders does repairs and rebuilds only.
